Faculty Openings
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers programs that lead to initial teacher certification in Elementary Education (including English as a Second Language), Middle Grades Education and Secondary Education. The middle and secondary programs include: Art, Business, English Language Arts and Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Spanish.
Part-time instructors may be needed to supervise a variety of field experiences, including full-year internships, or to teach professional, and methods courses in the various certification areas. The need for part-time instructors varies each semester. Consequently, assignments (contracts) may be for one or two courses per semester and for one or both semesters.
Qualifications: Minimum requirements are a graduate degree, teacher certification in an appropriate area and experience teaching in a Pk-12 setting. Upon receipt of the materials other information may be requested.
