Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction

Purpose of the Ed.D. Program

The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree prepares educational leaders and scholars to delve deeply into research, policy, and practice as they impact P-12 public schools, institutions for higher learning, and public/private educational organizations.  The Ed.D. program in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction engages well qualified students in academic and professional development endeavors that will allow them to assume roles as university faculty members, senior-level educational leaders, policy makers, and researchers.
