Position: Clinical Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure): Elementary Education in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction

Based upon Baylor University’s long history and strong reputation for preparing high quality teachers and Baylor’s strategic vision, Pro Futuris, the Department of Curriculum & Instruction is initiating a process to advance this nationally recognized program to an even higher level, developing a stronger national model while simultaneously improving the knowledge base from which teachers are prepared. We seek to hire a faculty member who is both scholarly and appreciates the practical nature of the educational enterprise. Applicants should have experience and expertise in at least one of the following areas: urban education, science education, mathematics education or English as a second Language.

Clinical Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure): Elementary Education Application

Part-Time Instructors (Adjunct) position 2015-2016 within the School of Education.

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction seeks part-time instructors for the fall and/or spring semesters in the following areas:

Middle Grades Math Intern Supervisor
Supervise pre-service middle grades (4-8) teachers in a yearlong internship and conduct weekly seminars.

  • Minimum requirements are a graduate degree, Middle Grades Mathematics certification, and experience teaching mathematics.

Integrated Science Instructor
Teach four-semester hour science content course for pre-service elementary teachers.

  • Minimum requirements are a graduate degree in biology, chemistry, physics or a related field; ability to teach multi-disciplinary science courses; and teaching experience. Teacher certification is preferred but not required.
