Baylor's program allows for the study of religion in a sociological manner, which is what my educational background has been focused on. Baylor also has a fantastic faculty, as well as opportunities that many other institutions do not offer. In addition, Baylor encourages graduate students in all of their endeavors as soon as they arrive. Overall, it's a great program with a lot to offer.

My primary interests are in the intersection of religion with marriage and the family. I am also currently working on projects concerning religion and the media, as well as religion and physical health.

Upon completion of the program, I hope to teach in a sociology or religion department at a college or university.
