School Hosts Panel on Immigration

April 26, 2006

The student organization, National Association of Social Workers, organized and led a panel discussion on the topic of immigration titled "Who is My Neighbor?" for the Waco community in mid-April. Panel members included a School of Social Work student, Viviana Triana, who is from Colombia; another Baylor student whose family immigrated, originally undocumented, from Mexico; and a local Mexican-American pastor.
