Agency Mission/Services
Catholic Charities' mission includes: providing service to those in need, advocating compassion and justice in the structures of society, calling all people of good will to do the same. Catholic Charities offers comprehensive social service programming, including financial assistance and financial literacy services, clinical counseling, immigration and refugee services, services to families impacted by HIV/AIDS, abuse and neglect intervention, family preservation and strengthening through a variety of case management services, homeless intervention and support services, and community capacity building.

Desired Qualification:
Catholic Charities seeks highly motivated students willing to accept the same types of responsibilities as paid employees under the direction and guidance of the Field Instructor. Students may be assigned to one or muliple programs within a department, so flexibility is required. Agency accepts both undergraduate and graduate level students.

Agency Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Training Required:
All interns are expected to attend the 1 1/2 day agency orientation if at all possible. Additional on-site training may be required depending on the program to which the intern is assigned. The agency also provides regular in-house training opportunities for employees, an option for students.
