Fields: The camp is held on the game and practice fields of the Baylor University Soccer team. It is a total of 5 lighted beautifully manicured Bermuda grass fields, all on the edge of the Brazos River, which provides a cool breeze for the players.
Residence: For our residential campers we will be at the Clarion Hotel Waco located right next to campus on fourth Street.
Safety First: Safety is our first priority and our coach to player ratio in the hotel will be at least 1:10. Also, all rooms will be located in the interior corridor of the hotel which overlooks the indoor pool and atrium. All doors are key card access only to add additional security. The Clarion is Family Friendly Hotel and does not offer any pay-per-view television and the only premium cable channel is HBO Family. The Clarion has been the preferred hotel for many other Baylor Athletic Camps for over four years.
Hotel Perks: Besides better parking for check-in, the Clarion will offer many other perks to our campers stay. Along with the pool and game area which are both located inside the hotel atrium, the rooms themselves will offer much more comfort during rest times and sleep times. Each room will have a microwave and a mini-fridge and of course daily room service with fresh linens.
Food: Three meals a day will be offered in the Clarion for residential campers and commuters will receive lunch and dinner. Food will be provided by the Preferred Caterer of Baylor Soccer, Blanek's Custom Catering. The Baylor Soccer team uses Blanek's for pre-game and post-game meals throughout the season and always gets a great meal.
