Milton G. Wright Scholarship Monthly Drawing
Adventures In Education (AIE’) is a public-service program developed by TG, a public, nonprofit corporation that helps students plan and complete their journey through higher education. The Milton G. Wright Scholarship awards thousands of dollars each year to students through TG events and special promotions on TG's Adventures In Education website. TG will allow students to enter online to receive one of twelve (12) monthly $500 scholarship awards. Scholarship Drawing
Sweepstakes winners are chosen through random drawings, giving students a chance to win $1,000. A total of forty (40) $1,000 prizes will be awarded (20 to high school students and 20 to college students). Once you sign up, you're automatically entered in future drawings. The Gilman Scholarship Program offers awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000. This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study and intern abroad programs worldwide.

Texas Young Lawyers Association 2014 Diversity Scholarship

The Texas Young Lawyers Association (TYLA) began over 80 years ago as the Texas Junior Bar association. Growing from an initial membership of 200 lawyers, the organization now boasts over 24,000 members. Each attorney licensed in Texas who is age 36 or younger as of June 1, or who is within his or her initial 60-month licensing period before June 1, is a regular member of TYLA. No application or separate dues are required. The Diversity Committee intends to award a $1,000 scholarship to one or more law students at each of the ABA-accredited law schools in Texas. The recipient must either be attending or have been admitted to one of the Texas law schools. In awarding the scholarships, the Diversity Committee will consider the applicant’s resume, response to the attached essay questions, letter(s) of recommendation, demonstrated commitment to diversity, academic performance, and financial need.
