The Dallas Woman's Club, along with The Dallas Woman's Club Foundation gives scholarships each year to men and women from the Dallas/Fort Worth area who need financial assistance to complete their college education. The IHS PhD Scholarship is open to full-time graduate students who will be enrolled in a PhD program in the 2015-2016 academic year. Preference is given to applicants doing work in the humanities and social sciences, particularly economics, history, philosophy and political science. The International Foodservice Editorial Council (IFEC) awards scholarships annually to students with experience and/or education in the combination of food or foodservice and the communication arts. Charles, Lela and Mary Slough Foundation Scholarship

The Charles, Lela and Mary Slough Foundation Scholarship was established to help needy Texas students attend college. In an agreement with Bank of America, Midland College reviews and recommends the scholarships for Texas residents entering or enrolled in any college or university in the United States. The Slough Scholarship awards up to $5,000 per year ($2,500 per fall and spring semesters) for a total of 5 years or the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree, or a total accumulation of 136 semester hours or 36 credits, whichever comes first. Smaller amounts may be awarded on a one-time basis with no guarantee of future awards. All applications must be submitted online ONLY.
