Financial Settlement Checklist

After registering for classes:
  • Check Baylor email regularly for updates from Student Financial Services

  • Designate Authorized Users in the E-Bill System to view and pay your bills online

  • If you will receive Federal Funds, complete the Title IV Authorizations in BearWeb under the Student Account menu

  • Select meal plan and/or yearbook in BearWeb under the Student Account menu

  • Submit Outside Scholarship Report Form(s) (OSRF) online. Also, please have donor checks mailed directly to the Cashier's Office.

  • Add or update Direct Deposit information in BearWeb under the Student Account menu in order to have any credit balance on your student account deposited automatically to your designated bank account

  • Update address, phone number, and emergency contact in BearWeb under the Personal Information menu

After receiving the semester bill:
  • Confirm attendance in BearWeb (especially if you have a zero balance)

  • Review your semester bill in the E-Bill System (click the eStatements tab)
  • Verify meal plan selection is correct. If not, in BearWeb under the Student Account menu, select Meal Plans - Add/Change. NOTE: Meal Plans may only be dropped or reduced until Friday of the second week of classes (fall/spring) and Meal Plans can be added or increased any time during the semester.

  • Verify the financial aid reflected on semester bill is correct. If your financial aid is not on your bill, see our list of most common reasons. Review the steps for Completing the Financial Aid Process (contact Student Financial Aid Office for questions).
  • Make payment of either Minimum Amount Due (installment plan) or total amount due by the due date on your eStatement. Where do I find my Minimum Amount Due?

  • Look for an email in mid-July with information about 2015-16 Parking Permits

  • Check Your Financial Settlement Status in BearWeb under the Student Account menu for a 'Happy Bear' by the due date on your eStatement

  • Check Baylor email regularly for updates from Student Financial Services

  • Email the Cashier's Office at Cashiers_Office@baylor.edu with questions regarding your bill.
