Financial Settlement Checklist
After registering for classes:
- Check Baylor e-mail regularly for Financial Aid and Cashier's updates
- Designate Authorized Users in E-Bill to view and pay your bills online
- If you will receive Federal Funds, complete the Authorization for Release of Federal Title IV Funds in BearWeb under the Cashier menu
- Select optional fees in BearWeb under the Registration menu or New Student Orientation menu
- Submit Outside Scholarship Report Form(s) (OSRF) online. Also, please have donor checks mailed directly to the Cashier's Office.
- If applicable, register for parking permit online at baylor.edu/parking
- Add or update Direct Deposit information in BearWeb under the Cashier menu in order to have any credit balance on your student account deposited automatically to your designated bank account
- Update address, phone number, and emergency contact in BearWeb
- Confirm attendance in BearWeb by the due date on your E-Bill (even if you have a zero balance)
- Make payment of either minimum amount due (installment plan) or total amount due by the due date on your E-Bill
- Verify optional fees selected are on the semester bill
- Verify meal plan selection is correct. If not, in BearWeb under the Cashier menu, select Add or Change Meal Plan. NOTE: Meal Plans may only be dropped or reduced until Friday of the second week of classes (fall/spring) and Meal Plans can be added or increased any time during the semester.
- Verify financial aid reflected on semester bill is correct. Review the steps for Completing the Financial Aid Process (contact Student Financial Aid Office for questions).
- Check Financial Settlement status in BearWeb for ‘Happy Bear' by the due date on your E-Bill
- Check Baylor e-mail regularly for Financial Aid and Cashier's updates
- Email the Cashier's Office at Cashiers_Office@baylor.edu with questions regarding your bill.
