What if your family's income changes because of unemployment, disability, or illness? You may encounter a loss of child support or Social Security benefits.

If your family income will vary from what was reported on the FAFSA, you may request a special circumstance application. If you believe you qualify, please contact our office at scholarships@baylor.edu. Please note that you will need to provide additional documentation to substantiate your special circumstance.

The financial aid staff will review each student's special circumstance application on an individual basis; you will receive a revised award notification once we have reviewed your file.
