All Other Aid for International Students
Federal Financial Aid
If you are not a U.S. citizen or do not have a status with the Department of Homeland Security as a permanent resident, you cannot complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We must have the results of your FAFSA in order to determine eligibility for all other types of aid at Baylor University such as need-based scholarships, federal and state grants and many loan programs.
Priority for employment on campus is given to students who qualify for the Federal Work-Study program on a need basis. After the first three weeks of classes in the fall, students who want to work can compete for on-campus positions for the remainder of the academic year.
International students are eligible to apply for positions with approval from the office of International Student and Scholar Services.
State Aid for Texas Residents
Non citizens who do not qualify for federal assistance may be considered for assistance as Texas residents. For details regarding the specific Texas residency requirements, go to College For Texans. After reviewing this information, if you think you qualify as a Texas resident, contact the Student Financial Aid Office regarding application procedures.
