Call for submissions:
Each year SCOLAS awards a prize for an outstanding paper some topic related to Hispanic women, to be presented at the upcoming conference. The three major categories of topics are literature, history, and social science, with special categories, periodically privileged, reference books and translations, from any of the disciplines. The awards may be rotated among the various fields or awarded in whatever manner the Awards Committee deems fit. An award of $l00 each may be granted each year.
Requirements:
l. Authors nominated for the awards must have been members of SCOLAS for three consecutive years, two of which must be prior to the award.
2. Nominated works must not have been previously published or accepted for publication before presentation at the next conference, following the closing for nominations, 1 February.
3. Nominations may only be made by members of SCOLAS to the chair of the committee, using the form included in this Bulletin. It is the responsibility of the nominee to provide THREE PRINT AND/OR THREE ELECTRONIC copies of the paper to the Articles Committee for adjudication prior to 1 February.
