NSF Major Research Instrumentation Program

The National Science Foundation provides funding through the Major Research Instrumentation program to assist with acquisition of major state-of-the-art instrumentation to create well-equipped research environments and enhance education.

Pending the availability of funds, the deadline for FY2010 MRI applications is expected to be January 28, 2010.

Institutions are limited in the number of applications they can submit. PIs who wish to apply for this program must submit a letter of intent to the OVPR. Due to the holidays, the submission deadline for letters of intent is December 4, 2009 at 12:00 pm. See complete MRI internal guidelines for details.
