Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas Limited Submission Policy
Faculty interested in submitting a proposal to a limited submission Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) RFA, for example, RFA R-10-H, must first submit a letter of interest to the Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR). Letters of interest should be brief (no more than two pages) and must describe the proposed project and provide a budget. Letters should also identify potential sources of cost share funding (if required) from the requesting department or college.
Applicants should indicate clearly how faculty, graduate and / or undergraduate students will benefit from the proposed project and address the proposed project's relevance to CPRIT goals.
Letter of interest must be submitted to the OVPR by 5:00 pm local time on the Friday preceding the CPRIT submission deadline by four weeks. The Vice Provost for Research will make the final decision as to which proposals will be supported by Baylor and notify the investigators. Selected investigators will be responsible for preparing the full CPRIT proposal in accordance with CPRIT guidelines and meeting all program and university requirements and deadlines.
