URSA Writing Awards
In conjunction with colleges and schools and other related units on campus, the URSA steering committee will develop writing awards for academic units accross campus. The criteria for awards will be appropriate for various disciplinary genres and conventions, ensuring that the widest range of "research writing" will be eligible for awards. In addition, award categories will include all undergraduate classifications and all sites where students produce writing as a result of research.
URSA Small Grant Program
The Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Achievement (URSA) Small Grant Program was established by the Office of the Vice Provost for Research to encourage and foster undergraduate research throughout the university. Interested faculty members are encouraged to apply under this program for up to $5000 in funding to support undergraduate research and scholarly activities.
Completed proposals are due on or before
February 3, 2010, 12:00 p.m.
for funding for the 2010/2011 academic year.
