Biography: Dr. David Moseman has been serving as a full-time lecturer in the Religion Department since the fall of 2007. He is blessed with a wonderful wife, Leigh, and enjoys spending time with her and their "chicas," Katherine and Carolyn. He also enjoys learning, reading, learning to speak Spanish, working in the yard, working with wood, movies, making and decorating cakes, running, and singing. He is a member of First Baptist Church, Waco, where he serves God in a variety of ways ranging from teaching to coaching soccer or basketball to taking God's love, grace, and provisions to an orphanage in Guatemala. At Baylor, Dr. Moseman loves teaching Intro to Scriptures and Christian Heritage and being part of his students' journeys. He also enjoys advising students during the year and during orientation during the summer. Having recently published "The Date Formulae in Zechariah: An Important Key for Interpreting Zechariah" (Review & Expositor, 2009), his current research interests center on interpreting the stories of Habakkuk, Jonah, and Abraham, and their relevance for our spiritual development.
