Undergraduate Course Repeat Policy Timeline

April 14, 2014- The Academic Program Enrollment Task Force recommends a representative group at Baylor review the undergraduate course repeat policy and consider a stricter university-wide policy be adopted.

August 15, 2014 - Undergraduate Course Repeat Policy Task Force Formed

September 12, 2014 - Initial Meeting of the Undergraduate Course Repeat Policy Task Force

May 13, 2015 - Faculty Senate supports moving the Task Force recommendation forward to the Provost

May 14, 2015 - Task Force recommendation sent to Interim Provost David Garland and Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Wesley Null

May 16, 2015 - Task Force recommendation accepted by Interim Provost David Garland

September 2, 2015 - Council of Deans approves revised undergraduate course repeat policy.

2015-16 Academic Year - Various discussions occur regarding implementation of the new policy.

April 28, 2016 - First meeting of the Undergraduate Course Repeat Policy Implementation Team

August 24, 2016 - Effective term for change in Undergraduate Course Repeat Policy moved from Summer 2017 to Fall 2017

September 8, 2016 - New Undergraduate Course Repeat Policy web site created

September 20, 2016 - E-Mail communication sent to Students regarding new policy

September 20, 2016 - E-Mail communication sent to Faculty and Staff regarding new policy

September 21, 2016 - Meeting of the Undergraduate Course Repeat Policy Implementation Team

January 25, 2017 - Meeting of the Undergraduate Course Repeat Policy Implementation Team

March 21, 2017 - Second e-mail communication sent to Students regarding new policy

Fall 2017 Early Registration - New policy goes into effect
