ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
The APA-accredited and nationally ranked doctoral program in clinical psychology at Baylor University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor appointment. The area of specialization is open.
We are seeking to hire a license eligible clinical psychologist with commitment to excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and who has the potential to develop a successful program of clinical research. Persons with a Ph.D. in other areas of professional psychology with strong clinical training are also encouraged to apply. The clinical program is located within the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience and we currently have active research programs in the areas of child and adolescent therapy, gender issues, substance abuse, marital and family therapy, neuropsychology, and mind-body interventions.

Minimum qualifications include: A Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree from an APA-accredited program in professional psychology, completion of an APA-accredited internship, and license eligible.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - BEHAVIORAL NEUROSCIENCE
The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Baylor University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor in the area of Behavioral Neuroscience to start in the Fall of 2010. The successful candidate will be able to develop and maintain an externally-funded program of research and demonstrate excellence in teaching. Although the area of specialization is open, candidates whose research involves animal models to study the neural bases of learning and memory, addiction, or psychopathology are especially encouraged to apply. This position includes both undergraduate and graduate teaching responsibilities including a course in learning.
The department is housed in a state-of-the-art science facility and offers doctoral degrees in Psychology (containing tracks in Social Psychology, Behavioral Neuroscience, and General Experimental) and Clinical Psychology.
