Provost Search
Baylor University has embarked on a national effort to select the University’s permanent provost. Baylor’s provost will lead efforts to further strengthen the University’s national reputation for excellence in higher education while building upon the its rich tradition of Christian commitment. Throughout the provost search process, which launched on January 16, 2018, this website will serve as an interactive communications channel, providing information about the work of the search committee as well as an opportunity to submit nominations and share feedback with the search committee.

More NewsWACO, Texas (Feb. 27, 2019) – Baylor University has named Nancy W. Brickhouse, Ph.D., as provost following a national search to help lead the institution toward its goal of becoming the next preeminent Christian research university. Dr. Brickhouse will assume her new role May 1.
The Baylor University Provost Search Committee has been working with our AGB Search consulting team over the last few weeks making final preparations for the public launch of the search.
Assembling the most dynamic, mission-focused group of senior administrators as we pursue our aspirations as a preeminent Christian research university is of vital importance.
