About

The Executive Vice President and Provost is the chief academic officer of the university. Reporting to the President, the Provost has overall responsibility for the institution's educational and research programs and assumes CEO responsibilities in the case of the absence or illness of the President. The Provost coordinates and directs the university-wide academic programs and works closely with the deans and directors of the various academic units to facilitate the mission of the Office of the Provost: "To provide academic vision and leadership and to promote and support excellence in teaching, learning, and research within the context of a Christian world view."
