Thank you for visiting the web site of the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost at Baylor University. We hope these pages help you learn more about our office and the resources available to support our outstanding faculty and the programs they lead.

As the university's chief academic officer, I have responsibility for overseeing all of Baylor's educational and research programs. Today these programs are distributed among eleven schools and colleges as they offer more than 250 undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees. We have approximately 900 full-time faculty members and 15,000 students, 2,600 of whom are graduate or professional students.

Ann Arbor: University of Michigan chemistry professor wins $275,000 award for teaching

University of Michigan chemistry professor Brian Coppola, Ph.D., was awarded the Robert Foster Cherry Award for Great Teaching. He will receive $250,000 and $25,000 will be given to his department at the University of Michigan.
