Quick Tips

Lost/Stolen Card - Immediately notify JPMorganChase at 1-800-270-7760 and the Card Administrator, at 254-710-8637 during a normal workday. If calling after 5 p.m. or on a weekend, then notify the Card Administrator on the next workday.

Taxes - Inform the supplier that the purchase is for Baylor University and is sales tax exempt.

Unauthorized Use - The Purchasing Card shall not be used for:
•Personal Purchases
•Alcoholic Beverages
•Travel Related Expenses (Except conference registration)
•Services (Repairs, rentals and labor costs)
•Gift Cards - Only gift cards or gift certificates that can be applied to purchase one specific item are allowable if de minimis (annual cumulative value of $100 or less provided to an individual over a calendar year) and must fulfill a reasonable and necessary business purpose to carry out the mission of the University.

Forgotten Pass Phase - If a Pass Phrase is forgotten, click on the "Forgot your Pass Phrase?" link on the PaymentNet login screen. This will allow you to enter some verification information, and a new Pass Phrase will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

If waiting 24 hours is not an option, email the Purchasing Card Administrator, and your Pass Phrase will be reset back to the default when the request is received.

In either scenario, the Cardholder will need to change the new Pass Phrase at next login to PaymentNet.

Review and Check - A check in the Reviewed box and the addition of Transaction Notes are required on EVERY TRANSACTION posted on the P-card.
