Merry Christmas from Baylor

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” - John 1:14 (NKJV) -

Christmas is a time of gift giving and gift receiving, but in the hurry of the season, it is easy to lose sight of the greatest gift ever given. More than 2,000 years ago, Jesus was born – fully God and fully man – a gift from our Heavenly Father to walk among His people, to celebrate with them and to suffer for them. This amazing gift offers us hope for the future, joy for each day, grace when we fail, and truth upon which to stand.

Over the past year, we have seen God’s hand at work at Baylor – through our students, faculty and staff and through our alumni, parents and friends. Each of you plays an important part in the life of the University and in the pursuit of our mission to prepare men and women for worldwide leadership and service.

As we approach the Christmas season and its beautiful traditions and sweet moments together, I pray we each pause to be grateful for one another and for the overwhelming love of God and the remarkable gift of His son.

Gratefully,

Linda, Brad, Shelby and BU Livingstone
