In the column, Parker mentions last year’s On Topic conversation in Washington, D.C., between Baylor President and Chancellor Ken Starr and attorney Alan Dershowitz, who agreed “that the state should always go to extra lengths to protect religious liberty whenever possible.” Parker’s columns are syndicated nationally by The Washington Post and appear in more than 400 media outlets.
