The Baylor University Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the National Health Pre-Professional Honor Society, sponsored the 41st Annual Pre-Health Day on Saturday, February 22, 2014.
AED hosts this annual event to help educate our over 3,500 pre-healthcare students on the many options available to them after graduation.
Interested in a career in healthcare? Want to get the scoop on medical, dental, pharmacy, veterinary, podiatry, PA, and other health professional schools and programs? Want to talk one-on-one with admissions personnel and get your foot in the door?
The event was held on Saturday, February 22nd, from 9 am to 1 pm. By registering, students had the opportunity to come hear lectures on a variety of topics (from secrets of the admissions process to interview tips to the future of healthcare) from professional school admissions representatives! Other highlights included...
- a full-size Army Field Medicine tent
- a raffle students can enter to win a free MCAT prep course
- dozens of information tables with representatives and information packets from pre-health organizations and over twenty health professional schools from across Texas and beyond!
