The Office of Prehealth Studies in collaboration with various health partners offers the following programs. Below you will find the timeline for these programs along with links to their webpages. Click HERE for more details on what is required and expected for these research opportunities.


SUMMER PROGRAMS:

Baylor-Scott & White Health - CMO Internship Program

Program Timeline:

  • January - Application to the program opens
  • March 1st - Applications were due
  • March - Baylor University and Baylor-Scott & White Health interviews
  • April - Candidates will be selected and notified
  • May through June - credentialing process and paperwork
  • June - Summer Internships begins
  • Late July - Summer Internships conclude


Baylor-Scott & White Health : Hillcrest Clinical Research Internship Program

Program Timeline:

  • January - Application to the program opens
  • March 1st - Applications were due
  • March - interviews
  • April - Candidates will be selected and notified
  • May through June - credentialing process and paperwork
  • June - Summer Internships begins
  • Late July - Summer Internships conclude


Baylor- Scott & White Undergraduate Research Program

Program Timeline:

  • Late October - Application to the program opens
  • January - Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled
  • February - Baylor Scott & White will conduct interviews
  • March - Candidates will be selected and notified
  • June - Internships and Program begins
  • August - Summer Internships concludes
  • September - Optional Academic Year Internships begin


ACADEMIC YEAR PROGRAMS:

Baylor - Providence Research Associates Program

Program Timeline:

  • January - Application to the program opens
  • March 1st - Applications were due
  • March - interviews
  • April - Candidates will be selected and notified
  • May through June - credentialing process and paperwork
  • June - Internships begins
  • May - Internships conclude


Baylor Undergraduates @ VA Center of Excellence Research Program

Program Timeline:

  • January - Application to the program opens
  • March- Applications due; applications will be reviewed and interviews conducted
  • April - Candidates will be selected and notified
  • May through June - Accepted students complete credentialing process and paperwork
  • End of August - Fall classes begin; internship research begins and first research meeting held
  • Beginning of May - Spring classes end; internship research concludes and 2-semester commitment ends
