SWURP Concentration - Health Outcomes

Research in which the outcomes of healthcare practices are investigated. This type of research studies the end results of health services and takes patient experiences, preferences, and values into account. Research provides evidence relating to the decisions made by all participants in healthcare. Scott & White research activities include topics on health services focusing on severe mental illnesses, aging and care to develop support services and clinical interventions to improve how older adults and their caregivers interact with their healthcare providers, and senior health to engage individuals in their communities in programs that improve senior health and well-being.
