CANCER

Cancer research has a focus on finding effective cancer therapies quickly and cost-effectively. Preclinical work establishes the therapeutic index, process development determines the standard operating procedure for manufacture, and drug production is carried out for clinical use. Formal pharmacology and toxicology studies are carried out as well as Phase I clinical trials to determine effectiveness of new treatments.
