To familiarize graduate and undergraduate students, faculty and staff with library resources, Baylor University Libraries will host four library research workshops to begin the fall semester.

The workshops will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25; 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29; 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sep. 6; and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sep. 13, in room 105 of Jesse H. Jones Library on the Baylor campus.

Among other resources, the workshops will acquaint attendees with BearCat Plus, the Libraries' online catalog search engine, and how to explore databases and obtain journal articles.

"Finding needed information resources becomes more complicated every day," said Janet Sheets, associate professor and reference librarian at Baylor. "The research workshop will help those who attend learn some of the best ways to work efficiently towards obtaining the information they need for papers, reports and non-academic interests."

Sign up at the Information Desk on the first floor of Jones Library, call (254) 710-2122 or send an email to Janet Sheets.

Jones Library is at 1301 S. Second St.
