KRLD-AM: Brad Thayer interview on death of Osama bin Laden

Osama bin Laden's role in recent years was symbolic rather than practical, said Dr. Brad Thayer, professor of political science at Baylor University, in an interview May 3 with Metroplex-based KRLD radio station. Reporter Chuck Schechner interviewed Thayer about the impact bin Laden's killing would have on al-Qaida. Thayer described bin Laden as "semi-retired" before his death.
