Baylor to Hold Varied Operating Hours for the Holidays

Baylor University offices and campus facilities will vary their operating hours during the Christmas and New Year's holidays. University administrative offices will be closed for the Christmas break Dec. 24 to Jan 2.

Moody Memorial Library and Jesse H. Jones Library hours will be:
• Saturday, Dec. 18 and Sunday, Dec. 19, the Libraries will be closed.

• Monday, Dec. 20, to Thursday, Dec. 23, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Friday, Dec.24, to Sunday, Dec. 26, the Libraries will be closed.

• Monday, Dec. 27, to Thursday, Dec. 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Friday, Dec. 31, to Sunday, Jan. 2, and Saturday, Jan. 8, to Sunday, Jan. 9, the Libraries will be closed.
The Libraries will begin normal operating hours on Monday, Jan. 10.

Baylor's special collections libraries also will be closed for the holidays. Armstrong Browning Library and The Texas Collection will be closed Dec. 24 to Jan. 2. All special collections will resume normal operating hours on Jan. 3.

The Legal Research and Tech Center hours will be:
• Friday, Dec. 17, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 19, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

• Monday, Dec. 20, to Wednesday, Dec. 22, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Thursday, Dec. 23, to Monday, Dec. 27, the Center will be closed.

• Tuesday, Dec. 28, and Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Thursday, Dec. 30, to Sunday, Jan. 2, the Center will be closed.

The Center will resume normal operating hours on Monday, Jan. 3.

Baylor residence halls will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, and will reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, for women participating in sorority recruitment. Residence halls will open for all residents at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6.

The first floor of the SUB will be closed on only Dec. 24 and 25, and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. The second and third floors of the SUB will be closed Dec. 24 to Jan. 2.

The Baylor Bookstore will be open Monday, Dec. 20, to Thursday, Dec. 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be closed Friday, Dec. 24, to Sunday, Dec. 26.

The bookstore will reopen Monday, Dec. 27, to Thursday, Dec. 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be closed Friday, Dec. 31 to Sunday, Jan. 2, and will resume regular hours Monday, Jan. 3.

The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will be closed from Sunday, Dec. 19, to Sunday, Jan. 2.

The Mayborn Museum Complex will be open throughout the holidays, closed only on Dec. 24 to 25, and Jan. 1.

The Learning Research Center (LRC) will close at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, and at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17. It will close for the holidays on Saturday, Dec. 18, to Sunday, Jan 2, and will resume regular hours on Monday, Jan. 3.

The Baylor Pharmacy will be closed from Sunday, Dec. 19 to Monday, Jan. 3, and will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 4.

The Wiethorn Visitor's Center will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 18 to Tuesday, Jan. 4.

The Baylor University Police Department is open year-round, 24 hours a day. The Baylor Police can be reached at (254) 710-2222.
