Baylor University Hosts the 2010 Fall Preaching Convocation and Workshop

The Truett Seminary at Baylor University will host the 2010 Fall Preaching Convocation and Workshop on Monday, Sept. 20, and Tuesday, Sept. 21.

The event, presented by the Kyle Lake Center for Effective Preaching at George W. Truett Theological Seminary, features nationally recognized professors and preachers in preaching, lecturing and dialogues.

This year the workshop will feature the Rev. Dr. William Willimon, bishop of the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church and former dean of chapel and professor of Christian ministry at Duke University in Durham, N.C.

The event starts at 5 p.m. on Monday with registration. The convention will include an opening presentation banquet, worship, a workshop and a closing lunch dialogue with Willimon.

This event is free for students enrolled at Truett Seminary. Cost for others is $30.
