Baylor University students are working hard to help the people of Haiti and all those affected by the recent earthquake.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 25-29, the Information Center in the lobby of the SUB will provide several ways that students can give to this effort.

Student Government is collecting donations, with all proceeds going to Mission Waco, a local Christian organization. This money will go toward immediate relief efforts (water, food, medicine), as well as long-term efforts including child sponsorship and water well drilling. For additional information, contact Kelly_Rapp@baylor.edu.

Students from Baylor's Journalism Department are collecting gently worn T-shirts to send to Haiti as part of an effort called "Give the Shirt Off Your Back." Donations can be dropped off until Feb. 19 in Castellaw room 255. Drop boxes will be available Feb. 17-19 in the bowl area of the SUB, Fountain Mall, outside of Memorial Residence Hall, outside of Penland Residence Hall and in Hankamer School of Business.
