Baylor Classes Take Fall Break on Oct. 16

Baylor University will provide students with a fall break and will not hold classes on Friday, Oct. 16.

Moody Memorial Library, Jesse H. Jones Library and Armstrong Browning Library will operate during regular hours on Friday, Oct. 16 through Sunday Oct. 18. Collections of Political Materials, Texas Collection (Carroll Library) and Legal Research and Tech Center will also be open during normal hours.

The Wiethorn Visitors Center will be open during normal hours on Friday but will only give tours of the Baylor campus at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

The School of Education LRC closes at 5 p.m., Thursday and is closed Friday and Sunday. Saturday the School of Education LRC will hold its normal hours of operation.

The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to midnight on Sunday. There will be no Bearobics classes held on Thursday or Friday. The pharmacy will be open during normal hours.

Marina Recreation Center is closed Friday and Saturday but opened Sunday at 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The lower level and first floor of the Bill Daniel Student Center will be open during its normal operating hours Friday, the second and third floor close at 5 p.m. Thursday. The second and third floor will open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday but remain closed Saturday and Sunday.

The Baylor Bookstore will be open during normal hours.

The Mayborn Museum Complex will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during normal hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Residence Halls are all open during fall break.
