A chapel service celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, at Miller Chapel in the Tidwell Bible Building on the Baylor University campus. The service will be preceded with a rally and candlelight march beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Speight Plaza and concluding at Miller Chapel.

A reception will follow immediately after the chapel service in the Bobo Spiritual Life Center next to Tidwell. The public is invited to attend all events.

The rally and chapel service theme is "Remembering the Visionary: Out of the Mountain of Despair: A Stone of Hope."

The events are a collaboration of the Baylor School of Social Work, George W. Truett Theological Seminary, the Baylor religion department and the Campus Diversity Committee.
