- PHY 2455 – Foundations of Astronomy

- PHY 3350 – Topics in Astronomy
- PHY 4350 – Introduction to Stellar Structure and Evolution
- PHY 4351 – Introduction to Modern Cosmology
- Three semester hours of PHY "3000" or "4000" level courses
