Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy clinic provides rehabilitative services to students with a physician's referral. Referrals are accepted from Baylor physicians as well as off-campus physicians. Treatment sessions may include exercise programs, aquatic therapy, joint mobiliztion, modalities, and functional training.

Location: The Physical Therapy clinic is an extension of Baylor University Health Services and is located on the second floor of the McLane Student Life Center.

Cost: Baylor Physical Therapy is in-network with most major insurances.

Appointments: To schedule an appointment with the physical therapist, please call 710-4249. You can have your referral faxed to 710-2499 or you can bring it to your first appointment.

Operating Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Closed Saturday

Closed Sunday

Services Provided: General Orthopedic Rehabilitation, General Neurological Rehabilitation, Sports Rehabilitation, and Aquatic Therapy.

Physical Therapist: Richard D. Gochis, DPT

Dr. Gochis received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor in 1993, a Masters of Science in Education from Baylor in 1994, a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Baylor in 1998 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Baylor in 2007.

He worked for 3 years in the Army as a physical therapist treating musculoskeletal injuries and worked for 2 years in the Army in the Burn Unit at Brooke Army Medical Center.

He is married to a Baylor graduate and they have three children.
