Dr. Trent Dougherty Travels to Notre Dame in 2012

April 21, 2011
We are happy to report that Dr. Trent Dougherty will be at the Center for Philosophy of Religion at the University of Notre Dame next year on a research fellowship. The fellowship is part of a large project on the problem of evil that is supported by a 1.4 million dollar grant from the John Templeton Foundation, which was awarded to the Center for Philosophy of Religion at ND. Dougherty has been also accepted to two Templeton-funded seminars this summer; one at Purdue and the other at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, which includes as facilitators a number of Oxford faculty. With Dr. Pruss having been a facilitator last year and Dan Johnson as a student participant, Baylor holds the distinction of having filled the senior faculty, junior faculty, and graduate student spots in the first two years of this three-year project.
