Dr. Stephen Evans, University Professor of Philosophy and Humanities, won first prize at the C.S. Lewis Book Prize Competition for his book, Natural Signs and Knowledge of God: A New Look at Theistic Arguments (Oxford University Press, 2010).
Dr. Evans, University Professor of Philosophy and Humanities, will present three named lectures this semester. The first, September 12-13, he will be at Samford University, presenting "Kierkegaard and Christian Faith." October 15-17, he will be giving the Hayward Lectures, Acadia Divinity College (lectures at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia), presenting "Christian Belief in the 21st Century: Responding to the New Atheism." He will be closing the semester on November 4-6 during the 12th Annual "C. S. Lewis Christian Thought Series"
