Blake McAllister's “Re-evaluating Reid’s Response to Skepticism” has been accepted for publication at the Journal of Scottish Philosophy. It received the George Elder Davie Prize from the Center for the Study of Scottish Philosophy.

He shows how Reid defends the rationality of believing in first principles and why we cannot properly understand Reid’s response to skepticism without this defense.
