1. I'm a Law student. Anything I should know?
Yes! As a Law student, you have your own procedures for requesting refunds and balance increases. You also have Law-only queues that don't restrict copy and page limits. Read more below.

2. Do I need to run the PawPrints app?
Baylor computers will run the program by default. Mac users using their own computer MUST run it to authenticate jobs. For Windows users using their own computer it is optional, but recommended. The app provides quick access to PawPrints tools, including balance and release, and sends notifications if there are problems.

3. My Bear ID (first_last) is longer than 20 characters. How to I login to PawPrints?
Login using only the first 20 characters of your Bear_ID as your username. For example, Bobby-Taylor_Bearsicem would login with the username Bobby-Taylor_Bearsic

4. What if I find a printer out of order?
Please fill out a PawPrints Issue form located at the link below. You may also put the "Out of Order" sign on the front of the printer (it's taped to the back).
It's good practice to release print jobs from your mobile phone (visit baylor.edu/pawprints/release) when you're physically at the printer, so you can see if it's down for maintenance or has a line of students before you decide on using it.

5. I noticed PawPrints email addresses. What are they for?
You may email attachments to any these four campus queue email addresses (e.g. PawPrints_2sided@baylor.edu). PawPrints will send you a reply requiring you to verify your job. Next, you may release the jobs as you would any other print job.

6. Is there someone I can talk to?
Yes! The TechPoint service desk in Moody Library's Study Commons is open 24-hours and can resolve many PawPrints issues, or contact those who can. Come by or call us at 254-710-8324 (TECH). Check our hours here.
