Motorcycles, Mopeds and Other Vehicles




All motorized vehicles must be registered with the state and obtain a license plate to be street legal. These vehicles must have a parking permit from Parking Services to park on campus.


Motorcycles and mopeds are permitted to park in the designated areas within the barricades on 5th Street and Speight Avenue.

Motorcycles and mopeds are permitted to park in regular parking spaces. Students must park in student parking. Motorcycles and mopeds are permitted to park in the bike rack areas.


Motorcycles and mopeds are prohibited from parking on walkways or near doorways. Motorcycles and mopeds are prohibited from using 5th Street or green spaces as thoroughfares. Those areas are for pedestrians and bicycles only.


Recreational Vehicles are not allowed to park/stay on campus without special permission. Please contact Parking and Transportation Services before bringing your Recreational Vehicle on campus.
