1. Are tickets written during summer sessions, between sessions, holidays, weekends and nights?
Yes. Citations are written throughout the entire year. There is a grace period during registration periods in student lots only; for additional information please contact Parking Services.

2. Do I need to register my car if I park on campus?
Yes. It is required that all vehicles operated by students,staff,faculty and visitors are registered with Parking Services.
3. What happens if I just park "there" for a minute, or a friend or teacher told me to park "there"?
If you are in doubt, contact Parking Services. Authorization to park anywhere other than designated areas may be granted only by Parking Services.
4. Can I appeal a citation I don't think I should have received?
Yes. Students, faculty and staff can appeal in written form or verbally to the appeals officer located in the Parking Services office, Suite 100, first floor, Clifton Robinson Tower. A ticket must be appealed or paid within 7 days of issuance.

5. What do I do if I need to unload/load materials at a residence hall, academic building or other facility?
Loading zones are located throughout campus and may be used for a maximum of 30 minutes with flashers engaged.
6. When my classes are scheduled back to back and across campus, is there a problem getting to the classes? Will I need to move my car to a different lot for each class?
Baylor is a relatively small campus, and a student can easily walk from one side of the campus to the other in roughly 10 minutes. Aside from walking or biking, the Baylor University Shuttle is available.
7. How congested is in the inner part of campus?
The inner part of Baylor is blocked off to auto traffic. Only authorized service vehicles are permitted.
8. Is there an airport in Waco?
Yes. The Waco Regional Airport (ACT) located 15 minutes from the Baylor Campus.
Waco Streak is a private company that provides van shuttle service from the Baylor campus to D/FW and Love Field. Four regular trips are scheduled everyday, 7 days a week. For more information please call them directly at (254)772-0430 or visit their website at http://www.wacostreak.com.

9. How convenient is parking on campus?
While parking can be a problem, parking in the parking garages or in parking lots on the edge of campus is available.
10. What about transportation on campus 'after hours'?
Currently there is not an after hours service offered. At any time if someone is concerned about safety while traveling on campus after hours the police department is operated 24 hours and can be reached at 254-710-2222.
11. If I receive a citation can I just mail it in for dismissal?
No, all those wishing to contest a citation must do so in person with a photo ID and the original ticket within 7 days from the date of issuance. If a citation is mailed in with a note directing that the citation be dismissed, it will be billed to the party responsible.
12. What involvement does Baylor Parking Services have with parking for athletic events?
Parking for athletic events at the Floyd Casey Stadium are handled by the Athletic Department. For more information call 254-710-1234.
13. Who do I contact if I am locked out of my car, need assistance with a flat tire or a jumpstart?
Baylor University does not provide these services. However, the Baylor Police Department can be contacted on their 24 hour phone line 710-2222 and can refer you to a local agency that can provide this service.
14. What do I do if I want to notify Parking Services of an upcoming event that may impact parking on campus?
Any one wishing to notify Parking Services of an upcoming event is requested to do so in the form of an e-mail at least a week prior to the event. It is understood that events will come up unexpectedly and schedules may change.
