It's a joy to welcome you to Parents Weekend 2009 at Baylor University. We thank you for entrusting your student to us and are pleased that you are taking this opportunity to visit our campus. We hope that this weekend will better acquaint you with the campus, and further your understanding of Baylor's traditions, identity and unique status as a Christian institution of higher learning with the highest standards.

I believe that Baylor is the finest institution of its kind anywhere in the world, and I can assure you that the faculty and staff at Baylor genuinely care about the personal, physical, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of our students. We share a deep concern for the personal welfare of our students and for the quality of education offered at Baylor University.
