MembershipJoining a Toastmasters club is easy. With more than 9,300 clubs around the world, there is sure to be one near you. Follow the Find a Club link to search our world wide index of clubs.After you find a Club attend a meeting and apply for membership. All Clubs have a different personality, so you might want to visit several before you make a decision. Clubs occasionally change their meeting time, day, and location, so call ahead to verify the details. Have you ever paid $100 for a one-day seminar? You probably won't pay that for an entire year of Toastmasters. There is a $20 new member fee, then $27 dues to Toastmasters International every six months. Clubs also assess local dues every six months to cover local expenses. ($12 every six months for Baylor Orators) If there are no clubs near you, consider organizing one! Follow the Start a Club link for more information. The more than 190,000 members are from a variety of occupations and backgrounds. They include doctors, auto mechanics, executives, teachers, homemakers, artists, college students, supervisors, attorneys, engineers, salespersons, and more.
