Linda McManness

Linda McManness is associate professor in Spanish in Baylor's Department of Modern Foreign Languages and director of Baylor in Denia, Spain, a study-abroad program. She is author of Lexical Categories in Spanish: The Determiner (University Press of America, 1996) and has presented papers at professional conferences throughout the U.S., as well as in Mexico and Puerto Rico. She serves the Seventh & James Baptist Church in Waco as deacon and Meals on Wheels cook, and has served as college Sunday-school teacher and chair or member of numerous church committees. Her oral history project for the summer of 2008 combines her academic interest in Spain and Spanish culture with her Baptist roots.
