North Village

Hall Information

The North Village houses 592 upperclassmen males and females, and is a part of the North Communities. A full-time professional Hall Director and Assistant Hall Diretor live in the complex and provides leadership to the hall staff and students. Community Leaders (CLs) are upperclassmen who live among the students to do the following: build and maintain meaningful relationships within their communities, connect them to campus involvement opportunities, and lead them in a way that is mindful of Baylor's mission and values. A Resident Chaplain lives in the building as well. He is a student at Truett Seminary and serves as a resource/support for our students as they explore God's call upon their lives. Office Assistants provide informational services to the residents at the hall office, maintenance personnel handle building repairs, housekeeping staff maintain the cleanliness of community rooms (not the residents rooms), and Safety and Security Education Officers work from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am each night. These professional staff members monitor the environment in and around the residence halls and are committed to helping ensure the safest possible living and learning environment for residents. The Safety and Security Education Officers also work to build positive relationships with students while encouraging them to make wise decisions during the nighttime hours.
