Bear the Difference Conference Poster

The 2009 Bear the Difference Conference is open to all Baylor University Faculty and Staff.

The event will be held on October 14th from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Cashion building on the 5th floor. See below for specific information on how to register

The purpose of the Bear the Difference Conference is to educate those that work directly with students who have disabilities.

SESSION 1-Breakout room #1, 10:30 a.m.
•Documentation and Testing-what does this really tell us?

SESSION 2-Breakout room #2, 10:30 a.m.
•Mood Disorders-the number 1 disorder on college campuses today

SESSION 3-Luncheon Presentation, 12:00 p.m.
•OALA-All about the processes and procedures
•Understanding Students with Disabilities-how to work with your students and enable them to be successful
•ADA-It's the law, so you should know it!

Free lunch will be served during the luncheon presentation. We will need your RSVP on the POD website in order to count you.
