Lisa Otto has taught at Baylor University LHSON since 2006. Classes she teaches include Pathophysiology and Pharmacology, Analysis and Synthesis of Complex Human Needs, Professional Nursing Practice, and Health Assessment. She received both her BSN and MSN from Baylor University. Her previous health service experience includes practicing critical care nursing, acting as case manager, and serving as Administrative Director at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
Lisa Otto currently serves on two Baylor University School of Nursing Committees: the Committee on Committees, and the Academic Policy Committee. She has also volunteered to present information against smoking at Plano middle schools. Moreover, in 2008 she received a Certificate of Appreciation for Raising NCLEX Board Pass Rate.
Lisa Otto’s research focuses on student success in the NCLEX exams. She has given a presentation called “Online Resources Promote NCLEX-RN Success" at many conferences. She has also attended conferences such as Today’s Learner Dallas, Sigma Theta Tau Convention in Grapevine, TX, and CNE Preparation Course.
