The following information is to help you apply to Baylor University as a freshman (or transfer) student into the Pre-Nursing program.

Entering Baylor as Pre-Nursing Major

Application to Baylor University should be made no later than the early fall of the senior high school year. Students who have already graduated from high school should apply at least six months prior to projected entry date. There are usually a few admission vacancies in the the spring of each year. Appropriate form for admission as a freshman should be requested from the Office of Admissions, One Bear Place #97008, Waco, Texas 76798-7008. Online application may be made on the Baylor University undergraduate admissions website.

Post-baccalaureate students from Baylor must reapply to study for a new degree.

Transferring to Baylor-Waco campus as a Pre-Nursing Major

Students anticipating transfer to Baylor University, Waco, to complete pre-nursing requirements should provide the Pre-Nursing Academic Support Specialist with the following information so an assessment can be made as to where you will fit into our program and a degree plan can be initiated for you:

1.	Official transcripts from each college attended.
2.	A listing by college or university of course number and title of any work in progress.
3.	As you progress in the major provide the Pre-Nursing Academic Support Specialist a copy of transcripts for any non-Baylor coursework upon completion of courses.
4.	Provide written notification of any change of address, telephone, or plan as to projected time of entry.
